Our
philosophy

Pippi’s is grounded in the belief that your time and craft have intrinsic value.

Founded by Madeline Heile, Pippi’s is a commission-based salon in Cincinnati created for both the artist and the consumer: a space to expose elevated technique, thoughtful systems, and intention for these experiences to coexist.

Madeline’s career has been shaped through years of advanced technical education, assisting in education, editorial and backstage work, and mentorship through the global education team at Shokunin Clik, founded by mentor Joseph DiMaggio. Through training and education, Madeline gained a deeper respect for the discipline behind hairdressing — the consistency, awareness, refinement, and intention required to create truly elevated work. In turn, Pippi’s evolved to support artists through education, mentorship, collaboration, and sustainable growth.

The salon operates with a systems-based approach, emphasizing consistency and efficiency. Stylists are encouraged to think critically, move intentionally and continuously evolve their craft. This philosophy touches everything, from the guest experience to the way stylists are trained, supported, and empowered within the salon.

Pippi’s is proud to introduce RICA
to Cincinnati

Through RICA, Pippi’s is bringing a globally respected Italian color and styling range into a salon environment centered around performance, and a deep respect for our people & our planet.

RICA & product standards

RICA was established in 1993 on the eastern coast of Sicily to both express and embody the natural resources of the Island through its products.

RICA is committed to utilizing and preserving our natural resources, together with the mission to produce through high quality standards, requiring daily careful control of raw materials used, exclusively selected from natural or organic products with the added objective of identifying natural ingredients with outstanding properties to use in all of their products. Every ingredient in RICA products has its own history linked to Sicily and its own specific function.

RICA & sustainability

RICA products are created and developed in RICA laboratories in Sicily, using coal resources and raw materials.

RICA’s goal is to exploit the cosmetic power of the ingredients that nature offers to create clear formulas that are safe for people and our environment.

Chromo pluS
Colorica

RICA's entire Chromoplus Colorica line is dermatologically tested and formulated with revolutionary raw materials with almost no irritating power.

Volcanic water, the main ingredient in all RICA formulas, comes from the depths of Mount Etna, where it flows through layer upon layer of sand, basalt and volcanic rocks and absorbs precious minerals and trace elements that strengthen and fortify hair.
